For over a decade, Kentucky SHRM has awarded the Lyle Hanna Volunteer Spirit Award to HR leaders who continuously volunteer their time, energy, and professional expertise to benefit the profession of human resources. Originally created by Kentucky SHRM to recognize Lyle Hanna’s “sustained, tireless, and visionary volunteer leadership that has both served the professional and advanced the profession in the state of Kentucky,” the list of influential recipients has now grown and reads like an elite ‘who’s who’ of change-makers and visionaries.
To further honor these leaders, we will be publishing a profile on a past recipient each month for the duration of the year. There are currently eleven recipients (excluding the award’s namesake, Lyle) and, with the twelfth being awarded at the 2016 Kentucky SHRM conference, we are excited to spend the year giving each recipient another platform to share their knowledge, enthusiasm, and volunteer spirit with the community!
