Cathy Fyock, CSP, SPHR, serves as Vice President, Strategic Services, for Hanna Resource Group. For more than 20 years Cathy has worked in HR consulting, first with her own company, then with an international firm before starting with HRG.
Cathy has been providing expertise on workforce issues for such organizations as the Society for Human Resource Management, Yum Brands, AARP, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Kentucky Farm Bureau, and Bridgestone/Firestone. Additionally, she is the author of five books, including her most recent book, the award-winning The Truth About Hiring The Best, named as one of the top four HR books by CEO-READ. She has been a faculty member for SHRM’s national seminar programs, and has been a top-rated speaker at SHRM’s national and state conferences since 1986.
Cathy is an active SHRM volunteer, and has served as president of the Louisville SHRM chapter, as Chair for the Human Resource Certification Institute, and most currently as the Chair-Elect for the KY SHRM Council. She has received the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association, and is life-time certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
