Candra Thackston is an enthusiastic, driven professional dedicated to advancing the Human Resource profession. Since her time with Hanna Resource Group, Candra has assisted numerous organizations in a variety of industries throughout the Commonwealth with both compliance and strategic HR issues. Candra has conducted several Human Resource audits, developed and led trainings for HR managers and executives, instituted employee policies and procedures, created and led managerial and departmental performance appraisals, recruited executive talent, and assisted organizations with the strategic planning process.
Specializing in compensation, Candra has participated and led multi-facet compensation initiatives in more than a dozen companies. While Candra has developed compensation systems throughout the nation, her unique experience developing compensation structures and pay-for-performance systems for organizations in the equine industry has created popularity for herself, and Hanna Resource Group, in central Kentucky. Specifically she has experience developing and instituting structures for base pay administration, executive compensation and performance management programs; she also has a great deal of experience in market pricing and salary data.
Candra is a cum laude graduate of Georgetown College with a degree in Psychology and Communication and Media Studies. In addition, Candra is currently studying at Northern Kentucky University to obtain her Masters in Business Administration. She is an active member of both the national and local Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has had the opportunity to participate in many certified trainings across the state. Candra also plans to attain her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in July of 2010.
