Typically, organizations address workplace violence only after a serious incident occurs elsewhere, and inspires them to be proactive. Organizations have a responsibility to educate and prepare their employees for the possibility of workplace violence. Violence in the Workplace training provides managers with the ability to recognize the potential for violence in workplace situations. It also provides techniques to diffuse situations which pose the potential of compromising the security and safety of employees. Preparation and response requires a multi-disciplinary approach involving members of management, law enforcement and all employees. It requires commitment from senior level management for a zero-tolerance workplace violence policy and program, and dedicated time for training. This presentation will be customized to match a company’s policies regarding workplace violence.
