With the NLRB advancing a pro-union agenda, expect union activity to increase, including union organizing campaigns. There has been an increase in the targeting of non-manufacturing employers, especially in the growing service industry. Unions continue to target smaller bargaining units. Approximately 67% of all elections occurred in bargaining units with less than 50 workers. It is important for employers to recognize union organizing and respond to it immediately. This presentation will provide supervisors with best practices to remain union-free and specific tactics in doing so.
